Reviews of Chicago's #1 Car Washes
I have driven past Chicago’s #1 Car Washes (I don’t know why it is plural, but ok) about 10 million times, but never stopped.
Friendly staff, if not exactly fluent in English.
This car wash is so ghetto, i live in Jersey and have traveled thru out US but never seen anything like this!!
About once every year I get the urge to clean my car.
It got every part of Her really clean.

The lung grew back. And it wasn’t caused from smoking. It was probably asbestos. They said it was a type of cancer that’s usually found in Asian women. And I’ve never had no Asian woman.

Official Matters
If I were an official, either a minor or a major official… the mere thought of it stirs my blood. I want to say, honestly, I would only want to be a corrupt official. Life as a corrupt official holds many pleasures. Treated as an equal among your fellow officials, welcomed in and sent off amid illustrious gatherings of distingushed guests, your macro-control would display great leaps of...

Underlined in her books
“What good is knowledge if it just floats in the air? It goes from computer to computer. It changes and grows every second of every day. But nobody actually knows anything.”

Hark, the Herald Angels Sing
“The so-called “harmony of the spheres” led a drummer I once had beers with to say that if the harmony of the spheres ever came near him he’d ‘pop it upside the jaw.’ In this town you don’t have to listen long to realize that the music coming from on high can’t be heard for the noise the police helicopters make.”

Executive Hotel Vintage Court Guest Reviews
Run down hotel but in very good location.
The only bad comment about the hotel is that the room smelled like humidity.
Terrific service, location, and price. If they just took care of the mildew problem, this would be a jewel of a hotel.
Vintage or Just Plain Old?
The Hotel is on a one way street so there would be many times where drivers would have to...

Reader-response criticism
A Jewish parable speaks of a heated debate between two old and learned rabbis around a particularly complex and obscure verse in the Torah. It is not the first time these two intellectual giants have debated this verse; in fact they have for years, sometimes changing their opinions but never finding a consensus.
God begins to tire of the endless discussion and decides to visit the two men and...

The End of Restaurant Criticism
Publicly, Rahm Emanuel has only committed to being noncommittal about changing marijuana policy. After months of silence, the mayor briefly weighed in on marijuana at a press conference after the November 2 council meeting.
“I’m banning it for all reporters,” the mayor said. He appeared to be joking. The reporters in the room laughed.

Fair and Balanced
“It was the first time ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ was played and it was played over footage of the trains that carried Jack Kennedy and Bobby Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr.’s funerals, and the sponsor said, it isn’t balanced, and we said, what’s not balanced about it? And they said, well they’re all democrats, and we said, well, we think of them all...

The Humanistic Approach
“AT&T was the sponsor, so I laid out for them every single thing you see in the final version of Songs for America: The Poor People’s March, Cesar Chavez, it was all down there on paper and when it was finished they sent their advertising representative and he was furious, livid at me. He said, you’re using our money to sell your ideology. I was 34 years old. I looked like I...
